Intempo Dance Ensemble recognizes dancers and musicians who show technical promise, drive to succeed, and excellent work ethic by selecting them to be part of the Company Program.

Mentorship at the Core

In both disciplines, our pre-professional students are mentored by accomplished professionals who share their expertise, artistry, and career insight. This professional guidance—combined with the collaborative creation process—equips each young artist with the confidence, skill, and vision to pursue their artistic dreams and contribute meaningfully to the cultural fabric of the community.
​These artists are selected through an audition process and train at an elite level. They receive personalized training from master teachers and other professionals as well as they are encouraged to create, choreograph, and/or compose their own pieces of work. Our members are exposed to master classes, workshops, conventions, and national and international festivals.

Dance

Our dancers receive high-caliber training in ballet and contemporary technique, paired with the rare opportunity to create choreography in direct collaboration with live musicians. They explore how to translate musical composition into physical expression, deepening their artistry and musicality. Guided by professional dancers and choreographers, they gain the tools to perform, create, and adapt in diverse artistic environments.​

Music

Our musicians receive one-on-one lessons with professional orchestral artists, as well as mentorship in performance, composition, and arrangement. They work closely with dancers to see their music brought to life through movement, strengthening their understanding of rhythm, phrasing, and storytelling through sound. This hands-on experience in collaborative creation prepares them for both solo and ensemble careers.​
